I am a bachelor's prepared Registered Nurse who has worked with all ages across the lifespan. Through my work as a nurse, I have learned the skill of not only listening but how to provide support while treating the whole person. I am passionate about providing quality, comprehensive mental health services along with the medical care that one would need. I pride myself on my natural ability to build a trusting rapport with my patients and their families, which has enhanced my clinical skills in the medical setting.

Through my work as a nurse, I have learned that treating the whole person is extremely important. The mind and the body are connected and it would be unfortunate to only consider one area of health without taking the other into consideration. Through this realization, I have decided to further my education in mental health. As I work on my Master of Science in Nursing with a Psych Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) endorsement, I am truly honored to connect with people who are seeking to work on themselves and I am to help them heal their entire self. 

As a PMHNP student, I will have a multifaceted role, which includes educator, mental health advocate, therapist and scientist. I believe in interdisciplinary education and inter-professional collaboration for whole patient healing with an evidence-based, patient-centered approach in both mental and medical healthcare.
