Therapeutic Biography
I'm so glad you're here. Reaching out for therapy takes courage, and whether this is your first time or part of a continuing journey, I want to personally welcome you into a space that values your story, your struggles, and your strengths.
I specialize in working with children (6+), teens, young adults, adults, and couples navigating ADHD, anxiety, faith-based concerns, and relationship challenges. These areas often come with layers of complexity and emotional weight, but they also offer opportunities for deep growth and transformation. My goal is to walk alongside you with empathy, skill, and a belief in your ability to move forward.
In our work together, I draw from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). These approaches help us better understand the patterns and parts of yourself that may be influencing your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors—while also offering practical tools to make meaningful change.
At the heart of my practice is a deep belief that every person I encounter is a valuable and needed part of the world. You have unique gifts and strengths, even if they feel buried under stress or pain. I see therapy as a collaborative process of uncovering and empowering those qualities so you can live with greater clarity, purpose, and joy.
I also recognize that therapy isn't easy—and it certainly isn't always comfortable. But my commitment is to create a safe, non-judgmental, and welcoming environment where you can explore who you are and how you want to live. This is your space to be real, to be heard, and to grow.
Whatever brings you here, you are not alone. I look forward to getting to know you, supporting you through challenges, and helping you build a life that reflects your true self.
