Hi there! My name is Lauren Roberts (she/her), I work with individuals all ages to overcome challenges related to relationship and family conflict, stress, grief, depression, anxiety, trauma and identity. I believe that the foundation of effective therapy is rooted in respect, open and honest communication, and compassionate listening. I believe in client-centered approaches for healing to ensure that your voice and experiences are at the forefront of our work together as we collaborate to reach your healing and self-determination goals. My therapeutic approach is psychodynamic, holistic, strengths-based and person-centered. I incorporate mind-body connection and mindfulness skills in tandem with cognitive behavioral therapeutic practices and other evidence-based methodologies in my work. To me, the most important element of the therapeutic process involves providing individualized care that fits your unique needs. I use an empathetic, relational, non-judgmental approach in my work to value your strengths and resilience. It is my belief that the therapeutic relationship is a collaborative process based on authentic connection and mutual commitment.
