Therapeutic Biography
Therapy can help you make sense of what you are carrying and understand how your experiences and circumstances have shaped you. It can also support you in moving toward a life that feels more grounded, connected, and authentically your own. I work with adults and children experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, identity exploration, and major life transitions. Our work might focus on healing from painful experiences, strengthening self-trust, navigating emotions more confidently, improving relationships, or developing new ways of responding to life’s challenges.
I bring warmth, curiosity, and active collaboration into the therapy room. I will listen closely, offer perspective, and help you explore the patterns shaping your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and choices. We will approach these patterns not as flaws, but as responses that developed for a reason, considering what they may have helped you survive or manage and how they are affecting you now. The pace and direction of therapy will be shaped by your needs, goals, strengths, and circumstances.
My approach is trauma-informed and attachment-based, integrating EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral practices. These approaches allow us to work both through conversation and through deeper experiential methods that attend to emotions, the body, and the nervous system. I provide care that affirms LGBTQIA+ identities and neurodiversity while welcoming the full complexity of your lived experience.
My background spans two very different professional worlds: working as a teaching artist with children in schools and nonprofit settings, and supporting professionals and organizational leaders through corporate talent and leadership development. Together, those experiences taught me to pair creativity, play, and attunement with structure, clarity, and a practical focus on meaningful change.
