I like to summarize my counseling style by the idiom, "meet people where they are". Rather you are coming in with a wealth of mental health knowledge and experience or this is your first time seeking some level of help we are all products of our environment at the end of the day. At times we all need a new perspective and/or set of ears to hear what our issues are and provide unbiased and non judgemental observations and suggestions.

My goal when meeting with clients is never to tell someone what to do, or what is right or wrong, but instead to walk along with you on your personal journey and assist you and gathering all the necessary information to make informed and confident decisions within your day-to-day life that fit your own personal standards.

I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from Eastern Michigan University in 2014 and my master's degree from Siena Heights University in clinical counseling in 2021. Since then I have contributed to the mental health field in a multitude of ways from providing ABA therapy to autistic children, working within community mental health in SW Detroit, as well as working within the school system as a high school counselor and Varsity Basketball coach. Through my experience both in the mental health field and everyday life I have learned you truly cannot judge a book by its cover and oftentimes the people who present as the strongest have gone through the toughest battles. My aim is to become a trusted co-pilot along your journey rather the issues are minor or major in your mind. Through evidence based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person Centered Therapy our sessions will be solely focused on attempting to make improvements for you as a well-rounded individual.
